That said, older units and ARM based units were still okay, but my understanding was that they would get no further Twonky updates.
TWONKY MEDIA 64 BIT
I know that Qnap stopped support for Twonky (likely assuming their own media server services would suffice as a replacement) so that meant anyone updating recent NAS versions to the 64 bit version of QTS found that to get a suitable version of Twonky, they had to download it from the Twonky forum page then buy a key to activate it. Album All Tracks Artist Index Artist / Album By Folder Composer Genre / Album Genre / Album / Artist Genre / Song Playlists It seems quite repeatable, so could this point to a Twonky bug? I've just confirmed that it is exactly at the time this Rescan finished that the trees re-appear in My Library and the tree options now show what I think I initially set up in my Custom tree in the Twonky options. I'm assuming this is also because this Rescan is in progress as if the trees are being set up and populated as if for the first time. I've seen this also when I start Kinsky, where it takes several minutes for the Artist names to appear and longer for the art to appear, then all works. Going from Twonky Music to Settings tab then back to Music tab, the trees have disappeared again and a rescan is in progress. Leaving this page up for 3-4 minutes, suddenly all the other tree options appear and I can then select Artist / Album that I want and can see all my music collection again - so it might not have been my random click that brought this up, but co-incidence. I was just checking my Twonky Music settings which showed a single entry of All Tracks, when I inadvertently clicked somewhere in the blank space near that entry and surprisingly then all the tree options appeared!!Īlbum All Videos By Date By Folder Playlists Title.and selecting Album initially just shows just a couple of titles and no trees. At some stage soon, I'll try the 4.3 beta on one of my backup units and see what happens to Twonky (and see if I can fix it) so if you don't wish to wildly experiment, hang fire for a few days and I'll let you know what happens after I've tried it here.

Now I have a working server, but am mystified why this happened, maybe a QNAP or Twonky bug?
